Welcome New Members:

We extend a warm welcome to new members Stan (Stush) Pournaras and Barb Kilburn. Stush, as he is callled by most of his friends, and Barb reside in Monaca. Stush is currentlly working on their 1976 Corvette and hopes to have it on the road by Spring.

Jack & V's 1957 'Vette a Winner at MidAmerica ! ! 

Jack and Veronica attended the Mid-America FunFest, Sept 18 -21, 2014, in Effingham, Illinois, where they received the "Celebrity Pick Award" for their very rare 1957 Corvette Dealership Pedal Car ! ! Yes, read it correctly, a PEDAL Car, said to be the rarest Corvette ever built by General Motors. Christmas is "Right Around the Corner"
Once again Corvettes of PA is participating in Christmas Tags for the Salvation Army. All of the 50 tags we received were taken by Members at the Sept. and Oct. meetings. Gift(s) are to be un-wrapped and a price of $35. (max) is suggested. If you were unable to attend the Nov 9th meeting, gifts should be dropped off at the Salvation Army in Beaver Falls. Thanks to all club members for your generosity.



An up-dated List of Activities for 2014 is available in the Members Only Section (click the "Activities" button). This list is periodically up-dated as new activities are added or details for previously listed activities become available. There are only a few open dates for the membership to lead the club on other activities in 2014.

This week's up-dates include the following;

Fri-- Dec 12:   Christmas Party at the Heirloom Restaurant, 690 3rd Street, Beaver, PA

                         6:00 PM-Start your evening with "Sangria Punch" compliments of Jack & Kathie McCandless.

                         A cheeseboard will be provided. Dinner will be served "Family Style" and consist of a                                            mixed salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing, pulled pork (slider buns optional), 

                         Saltimbocco Chicken, mashed potatoes and a mixed vegetable.  Desert of cheesecake 

                         and/or brownies will be served.

                         The local township is "Dry" so BYOB. Coffee, tea, sodas, etc will be provided.

                         Price is $40.00 per person including tax and gratuity.

                         Our usual Christmas "Gift Exchange" will be part of the evening. Bring a gift...get a gift.

                         You can still sign-up at the November meeting or contact the McCandless' to 

                          make your reservation. Last date for reservations is November 30, 2014.

Sun--Dec 21:    All Aboard for a "Journey Back In Time" to the "Ohio Valley Lines Miniature Railroad and                               Museum" located in the Historic District of Old Economy at 1225 Merchant Street, Ambridge,                               PA 15003. The display's "normal" hours are Noon to 5:00 PM, during which time we will                                       be free to explore the displays on our own. A donation of $6.00 per person is requested.

                          The OVL has offered to stay open until 6:00 PM for our group so we will have the                                         opportunity for an additional "behind-the-scenes" tour.                                                                                    Members should plan to arrive 1 1/2 to 2 hours before "normal" closing.                     

                          After closing at the OVL, dinner is arranged at the Maple Restaurant in Ambridge.
